The Mogao Caves in Dunhuang are a UNESCO World Heritage site shaped by over a thousand years of Buddhist art and cultural exchange. This project reimagines mapping through a museum publication and interactive website that blend archival material with storytelling, revealing both the visible and hidden layers of Mogao's legacy.

Built from modular circles inspired by Roboto Mono, this variable typeface disintegrates into ash over time—visualizing the fleeting yet destructive power of words spoken in anger.
